Surfers Yoga
To get the most out of your surfing (or any other sport), you need gain optimal movement. Yoga allows you to increase your flexibility and body awareness. The poses taught in a typical Surfers Yoga class addresses the major muscle groups used whilst surfing. It is well known that we should stretch out properly after surfing but incorrect stretching can sometimes do more harm than good. The class is designed to give surfers increased range of movement to improve efficiency in paddling, popping to your feet and tucking into those elusive barrels.
